1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using FridgeAudit ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
FridgeAudit is an AI-powered meal planning application that:
- Uses computer vision to identify food items from photos of your fridge or pantry.
- Generates personalized meal plans with nutritional information.
- Tracks your pantry inventory and predicts shopping needs.
- Provides AI-powered nutrition coaching.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
- One account per person. Shared accounts are not permitted.

- Monthly: $9.99/month

- All subscriptions include a 7-day free trial
5. Billing and Cancellation
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.
- No refunds for partial billing periods. Contact Apple for refund requests.
- If you cancel, you retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
- Use automated tools to access the service (bots, scrapers, etc.).
- Share your account credentials with others.
- Upload images that do not depict food or kitchen items.
- Circumvent usage limits or subscription restrictions.
7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
FridgeAudit uses artificial intelligence to generate meal plans, nutritional information, and coaching advice. Please note:
- Not medical advice: AI-generated nutritional information and coaching are for informational purposes only and should not replace professional medical or dietary advice.
- Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, AI food recognition and nutritional calculations may contain errors. Always verify critical dietary information, especially regarding allergies.
- Allergies: Although we filter for declared allergies, you should always independently verify that meal suggestions are safe for your specific dietary needs.
8. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, code, and AI models, is owned by FridgeAudit. Meal plans generated for you are yours to use personally, but the underlying technology remains our intellectual property.
9. Limitation of Liability
FridgeAudit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:
- Inaccurate food identification or nutritional information.
- Allergic reactions resulting from AI-generated meal suggestions.
- Health outcomes from following meal plans or coaching advice.
- Service interruptions, data loss, or technical issues.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
